Houston Lady Hawks Basketball Needs Your Support!
Dear Community Leader,
We’re providing this information because we believe you understand how important youth athletics are to the health and wellness of our youth and community. Many of today’s young athletes will become tomorrow’s leaders. Unfortunately, they cannot succeed without the support of many generous individuals in our local Alaskan communities. People like you!
Our program depends on sponsorships and donations for everything from equipment, to travel expenses, but our largest yearly expense is officials. The vast majority of the program’s budget for the season comes from sponsorships and donations.
Houston Lady Hawks Basketball has a very exciting schedule for its 2023-2024 season. Our athletes will compete in regular-season tournaments in Kenai, Seward, Sitka, and Homer, where we will play teams from across the state. These trips give our student-athletes the opportunity to challenge themselves against incredible competition and, more importantly, it allows them to take on the role of ambassadors for our school and community.
In addition to travel, we will host nine home games this season and we certainly hope you can find the time to attend our home games and cheer us on in our brand-new gym! All sponsors will be advertised at home games in the program, on our interactive scorer's table, the TV monitor next to the gym entrance & concession stand, verbal announcement every quarter during home games, logo posted on our social media and team webpage, and more.
Again, this season will only be successful with donations and sponsorships from generous businesses and individuals, such as yourself. We offer many options for you to support tomorrow’s leaders today. Thank you for your consideration and GO HAWKS!
